  Have to say this is the second time we have used Stanley Steemer and it will be the last, Had them come to clean a condo living room carpet that has not been cleaned for a while because being vacant, There were stain's that we spoke about, and spoke to him about making sure they clean all around edges because of the dust stains, they never touch the out edge of carpet at all, they did not pretreat the stains as they say they do, they sprayed a little spray around to lift the dirt they said but didn't even spray the whole rug, just flip flopped different areas, and that was also the case with the cleaning, he jumped around and missed areas of carpet that were not even touched, I spoke to one of the areas that they missed and he gave us a long excuse that because furniture sits to long it leaves a discolored area, but they didn't even try to clean it, after they left I spent 2 hours with my own carpet cleaner with a scub brush all around the edges, and the areas they missed, I will never use Stanley Steemer again
