  Dr. Schurman herself is wonderful, but the medical group she works with is absolutely impossible to get anything accomplished with. My new patient appointment took WEEKS for me to even get scheduled. I personally had to call the office 6 separate times to get an appointment scheduled because each time I called I was told by the person on the other end that they would "put a note in to have someone call" to help me get scheduled. Once I finally got one scheduled and got in, everything was great until I realized that they had not sent a referral in to my insurance company for me to see a specialist for my diabetes. After I received a bill from the specialist I had seen that my insurance was not covering due to not having received a referral, I called Dr. Schurman's office to address the issue and have them just send in the referral so I could get everything situated. The person I talked to told me that there was no such referral in my patient file and she would "put in a note to have the medical staff call" and I never received a phone call. I called back a few days later and was on hold for 20 MINUTES and was never gotten back to on the issue. I am incredibly dissatisfied with the way this office handles their patients. As far as Dr. Schurman as a doctor goes, I'd love to give her 5 stars, but I am absolutely appalled at how little help I've been given by Millennium Physician Group as a whole.
